Joe Madureira's back Battle Chasing!

After 14 years, it looks like fans of the hot 1998-2001 comic book Battle Chasers will finally get to find out what happens to Garrison, Red Monika, Gully, Knolan & Calibretto after the book literally left us with a Cliffhanger after issue 9 was produced.

Joe Madureira the creator & artist of Battle Chasers was recently interviewed by Polygon and this is what Madureira and Vigil co-founder Ryan Stefanelli had to say.
"Even though the game mechanically is going to be very different from Darksiders, I think we're still really going to be doing everything we can to make sure that the dungeon exploration side of the game is soaked with lots of fun adventurous elements,"
Stefanelli said, referring to Airship Syndicate's plans for a role play style game for PC's
and consoles.

Upon further conversation Madureira went on talk more about the Battle Chasers franchise and a few juicy details he has for the future of Battle Chasers.
"I think it's going to get a visual overhaul too. My art style and storytelling style, everything's sort of changed and evolved over the years. I'd like to do further three-issue arcs but he's waiting to see how everything shakes out before committing to more.I've always wanted to do an animated series, possibly, so there's a couple of different options that we're pursuing for bringing the franchise back in a big way,"

At this stage Madureira and Stefanelli's company Airship Syndicate haven't any timelines
on when production of the Battle Chasers game or comic, or how they might fund the
projects yet.

One things for sure that should Airship Syndicate decide to kickstart the projects, they could potential have just as much success as Double Fine did when they kickstarted "Day of
the Tentacle”.
